What’s new
What changed on BibleTide, newest first.
More feelings, a softer look everywhere V0.3.2 · 7 Nov 2026
- Four more feelings: doubting, insecure, tempted and sick, so 22 in all, now in order from the most joyful to the heaviest.
- Feelings added in a new version show their verses right away, even if your browser kept the older list.
- The soft gradient of the home page is now on every page. Reading settings → Background → Plain (or the switch in the menu) turns it off.
- Reading settings open in a larger window, with everything in two columns, and the switches look right again.
- A larger header and search box, and a wider read-aloud bar.
Easier to find your way V0.3.1 · 6 Nov 2026
- The menu opens as a wide panel under the header instead of a pop-up window, and the language switch is in the header.
- The verse of the day plays in the read-aloud bar, with the voice and speed at hand. The bar shows all its options at once.
- Psalms and other poetry read as running text, so a chapter is shorter and easier to follow. Reading settings → Poetry → Lines as printed keeps the printed lines.
- A chapter opened from a reading plan shows the plan, the day and its readings, with a way back. A chapter opened from search results, a topic or a feeling has a link back to it.
- A wider reading column on large screens, and every part of the site as tiles on the home page.
- Six more feelings: energized, peaceful, hopeful, tired, confused and hurt, with 20 passages each.
- Verse images in the colours of the home page.
- Many smaller fixes: long book names on phones, the verse you tap stays above the action bar, dates and numbers in the page's language, and more.
BibleTide en español V0.3 · 6 Nov 2026
- The whole site in Spanish, with the Reina-Valera 1909: choose Español in the menu. A chapter opens in the other language at the same place.
- A new home page: the verse of the day, your reading and plans, How are you feeling? and every part of the site as tiles.
- A clearer menu: the main pages as tiles, the rest in groups, with the theme and reading settings at hand.
- How are you feeling? has 20 passages for each feeling, and shows every one before it repeats any.
- A reading streak on the home page: the days in a row you have read. It is kept only on your device and can be hidden.
- Interlinear reading: the Hebrew or Greek words under the English text of the BSB (Reading settings → Layout). Tap a word for its meaning.
- Every verse page, in every translation, can be found by search engines.
- Anonymous visitor counts: how many browsers visit per day, week and month, without cookies or IDs. You can opt out on the Privacy page.
